The issuing ceremony of Golden Spike Benefit Farming-Social Security Card (hereinafter referred to as Benefit Farming social-security card) of Agricultural Bank of China was held in Quanzhou on Mar. 22, which is the first smart card supporting PBOC 2.0 Debit & Credit and social-security in China and has explored a new way for the combination of financial IC card and application. HED provided the chip platform for Benefit Farming social-security card.

Benefit-Farming social security card with approval by Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and People’s Bank Of China is the first new type one can be used as financial payment, which accords with related national standard including Social Security (Personal) Card Specification and Chinese Financial Integrated Circuit (IC) Card Specification. Moreover, Benefit-Farming social security card firstly gives supports for combination of PBO2.0 bank card and social security card, which combines social security policy including new rural CMS from government with benefit-farming measures from agricultural bank, financial products with social -l security serves. Thus, this card provides more convenient service, which makes one card for various social security service, savings, remittance, settlement, payment of utility bills come true. In the future, Benefit-Farming social security card will be provided for the 5,400,000 peasants in Quanzhou under rural CMS, which is the so called ‘one card in hand, no worries about security’.
