In the second quarter of 2014, HED introduced the first smart card chip product based 55 nm advanced process, which featured small size, low power consumption and high performance. And the bulk supply is realized now. Its good performance has been recognized widely by the customers. 

As early as in 2012, HED began to research the technologies such as the analog circuit design based 55 nm process, system design under 55 nm process, and 12-inch wafer testing and dicing, and put the research results into product development, to realize the launch of the new product rapidly. The 55 nm process is the most advanced process in current Chinese smart card industry. It features a low logic operation voltage which can minimize the chip’s power consumption and improve the product’s performance. The market response was extremely intense once the HED’s 55 nm process products were introduced.

HED is the promoter of smart card chip technology in China, and the manufacturer with the largest smart card chip shipments in China. Its products are widely applied to the fields such as ID Identification, social security, oil filling, telecommunication, residents’ health and traffic.
